Heel Boy. We can always count on our friends at Toronto's best shoe boutique for the inside track on what's hot. So we nabbed their Senior Buyer, Katherine Chreptak, and quizzed her on her favourite trends, eats and One Fated Knight sidekick.
1) What are your favourite accessories for spring 2014? I'm really liking D’Orsay flats. I have this great buttery pair from the store. I'm also into the feminine leather backpack. I have a great one from a Danish line called Minimum.
2) Now to complete the outfit. Where should we be shopping in Toronto? I do a lot of shopping at my fiancé's sample sales for Spearmint Pelican. Brixton hats or spring coats from Minimum complete an outfit. Also, Zara and Mendocino. There’s a great new clothing boutique on Queen West called Oak + Fort that has really simple, pretty pieces.
3) What is your favourite place for dinner in Toronto? Hands down,
Sotto Voce on College Street for the best Aglio e Olio and a yummy bottle of Bogle red.
For drinks? Nowhere specific! I love cocktails everywhere!
For dancing? President of Heel Boy, Chloe Raincock's house. She has a great glass table for dancing on!
4) Dream weekend getaway this summer? If it’s a dream, then the Almafi Coast. More realistic would be the east coast of Canada. I've never been!
5) What OFK bag would you take with you? The
Marquess in cognac. The perfect summer tote!
